Make the recurring work easier to manage.

Need a broader scope?

These areas need a separate discussion of requirements, relevant experience and professional responsibilities before they are included.

Setup, migration and cleanup

Describe the current platform, employee records and reconciliation status. Confirm data preparation, migration checks, configuration ownership and opening balances as a separate project scope.

Off-cycle and corrective payroll

Retrospective pay, overpayments, underpayments and rejected payments need a defined decision and approval process. Confirm who calculates, approves and implements each correction.

Statutory reporting and corrections

Confirm applicable locations, authorized submissions, access and responsible reviewers. Organizing payroll records does not itself include statutory filing or correction authority.

Multi-country coordination

Identify the employer entities, employee locations, local providers and review contacts. Agree which records and handovers can be coordinated across the engagement.

Start with the market your business operates in.

Country pages organize the conversation. Confirm the particular local work and review arrangements in your engagement.

Payroll support questions

What do you need to scope payroll support?

Share employee locations, pay frequency, payroll platform, recurring inputs and the tasks you want covered. Identify the people who approve changes and the final pay run.

Can we keep our existing payroll platform?

Discuss the platform, edition and required access during scoping. Confirm relevant experience and the work to be performed before granting access.

Who approves payroll and releases payments?

Assign those responsibilities explicitly. Preparation and review support do not automatically transfer approval or payment-release authority.

How are late changes or payroll errors handled?

Agree an exception process with a named owner, supporting records and approval points. Off-cycle calculations and corrections need their own confirmed responsibilities.

Can payroll records feed into our accounts?

Discuss journal formats, account mapping and the reconciliation required. Confirm whether the scope covers preparing journal information, posting entries or both.

Can we discuss teams in several countries?

Yes. List employer entities and worker locations so local provider, reporting and approval responsibilities can be assessed separately.

Connect the work with your wider accounts.
